Production control note

How can seat labels be checked before printing?

When seat labels are enabled, flag attending guests without labels and duplicate normalized labels within the same table; preserve the exact user-entered label and never infer physical position from it.

Labels are local to a table

Seat 1 at Atlas is distinct from seat 1 at Tide. A table plus seat pair forms the usable locator. Preserve the owner’s authoritative source outside the browser project and label every assumption that remains unverified.

Numbers are not coordinates

A label does not prove clockwise order, orientation, adjacency, distance, accessibility, or correspondence with the venue plan. Review the result as production evidence, not as a recommendation or professional approval; the responsible people remain accountable for the decision.

Disable labels deliberately

For table-only assignments, hide seat labels in print settings and use appropriate guest guidance chosen by the host. Carry this limitation into the proof and handoff so a fresh recipient knows what changed, what was checked, and what still requires human confirmation.
