How does Placeproof handle my data?
The current project is stored in IndexedDB inside the active browser profile when available; the application has no account, backend database, analytics, advertising, or application upload path, while downloaded checkpoints and packets leave browser storage under the user’s control. Opening this site sends ordinary hosting requests to Cloudflare, which may include your IP address, browser information and requested URLs. Optional Premium sends an anonymous purchase identifier and entitlement requests to RevenueCat and payment information to Stripe; project records are not sent to either provider.
Your local records
Browser storage is not encrypted application storage or an automatic backup. Other device users, extensions and exported files can expose information. Preserve the owner’s authoritative source outside the browser project and label every assumption that remains unverified.

If you email support, your email provider and ours process that message. Send only non-sensitive reproduction details; avoid private project files. Review the result as production evidence, not as a recommendation or professional approval; the responsible people remain accountable for the decision.

Before changing website addresses or clearing storage, export a complete checkpoint. Carry this limitation into the proof and handoff so a fresh recipient knows what changed, what was checked, and what still requires human confirmation.
